Humans. Such a profound species, such a powerful and intelligent populace. The humans were a race whom had a finger in every pie and a spy in every town. You would never think that a mere war would be enough to destroy them. A tiny, rather insignificant war that teetered between three main towns in a land that no one has ever heard about. You would never begin to suspect that a mere mage could possibly ruin those towns and kill those people, right? Not the kind-hearted Fahim, the mage who helped them build their cities and construct their temples. Not the mage whom was visor to the King Armelio. It couldn't have been Fahim whom brought the land of Rythania to its knees before driving the stake in deeper, pushing it through the heart. Alas, it was.
Humans. The one species that is no longer existent upon Rythanian soil; the one populace who couldn't make it through the Black Nothing when time stood still and deep magic penetrated the earth. They were the one and the only species that were destroyed by the deep magic and forced from this land. Yet, in their place are beasts whom have only had stories written about them; creatures whom live only in the mind's imagination. Winged horses, merpeople, three-headed dogs...surely the stuff of legends. Centaurs, Sirens, Banshees...the main characters of ghost stories, right? Wizards and witches, mages and magic...nothing more than the talk of a person heading for the asylum.
Humans. They have no part in this new world. Unicorns, Dragons, and Werewolves...the newest reality inhabiting Rythania. The line between fantasy and reality has again been blurred.
So Tell me: Are you imagining things or can this place actually be real?
